Christalyn Brooks, a self taught artist, wrote poetry back in Junior High. Realizing that she had a love for expressing herself through lyrical art she crossed over to songwriting. She has currently written two award winning songs in the Christian genre of the ISC in 2004 and Nashville Paramount Group in 2006.

In her early 20's, with her passionate drive of creativity, she began studying the vast world of visual arts and psychology.
She landed a few memorable jobs with her business she started “Children’s Murals”. You will see her name signed on the barrel in the upstairs party room of our well-known Mulligans Family Fun Center, Temecula CA. She also tenderly reflects on the experience she had with the “Make A Wish Foundation” while conducting a painting for Princess Laura, 4 years old, in her castle before she went to be with the Lord.

She now challenges her avenues of creativity to work together for the betterment of M.A.D. Studio and Victorious Girls M.A.D. Studio. This is where she believes her roads will intersect and you will be encouraged. Encouraged to connect to the God given opportunity to unearth the art that God works from your HeArt.

Her paintings and songwriting carefully carry the depth of healing and gentle conviction. Painting and writing with purpose is what you will experience in Christalyns work. You will see the side of our souls that we may not always want to face but are blessed to release. With inspiration from lyrical artists such as Jewel, Norah Jones, Rich Mullins, and visual artist Jackson Pollock Christalyn continues to create and identify with soul-searching projects that if we allow, we can connect to.

Each painting provides a strong glimpse into her life.  Her paintings will be a metaphor of a memory or something she has experienced. Her choice for using a variety of media is a pure reflection of her love for a limitless world. Her art pieces are usually of a person, place or event that has become a self-discovery in this journey called life.
